The Tough Guy and Gal Challenge will be coming to six cities across the North Island in 2017.

The 2016 event will return to Camp Wainui, 203 Coast Road, Wainuiomata just 10km from Lower Hutt. Camp Wainui provides a unique opportunity within a NZ Native bush environment. Run through water trails, crawl under barbwire obstacles, clamber through tunnels, wade through swamp crossings and pull yourself up hill climbs. The facilities include hot showers, hot food and coffee for sale and free parking. Please car pool if possible, as parking is tight.

The 2016 event is heading back to the mighty Waikato! Just 20 minutes north of Hamilton, and 60 minutes south of Manukau, the Ngaruawahia Christian Youth Camp (148 Waingaro Rd, Ngaruawahia) offers a stunning venue nestled between the Waipa River and the Hakarimata Scenic Reserve. The camp is set amongst 38 hectares of native bush and pastures, ready and waiting for tough guys and gals to take on the challenge. Click here for a map to the venue.
Auckland – Change of venue!!!
Please Note: Event Promotions have had to change the venue of the Auckland Tough Guy and Gal events, due to neighbouring properties unwilling for the events to go ahead at Woodhill Sands Equestrian Centre, meaning that we cannot be granted a resource consent for this venue.
NEW AUCKLAND VENUE
Tough Guy and Gal Challenge held on 1st and 2nd July 2017
The new venue is just 9 minutes on from the old venue. We have found another fantastic farm to have the course on and the registration, Start and Finish Line and Prize giving will be based at the Helensville Tennis Club.
The Auckland new venues address is Helensville Tennis Club, 124 Rautawhiri Road. Registration will be at the Tennis Centre.

Tough Guy and Gal Challenge held on 30th July 2017
The Hawke’s Bay venue is held at Clifton Station, Cape Kidnappers. The original Clifton Station of 13,500 acres were purchased in 1859. It stretched from Clifton to Cape Kidnappers and right down to Ocean Beach. Just 20 minutes from Napier and Hastings. Clifton Station is adjacent to the multi million-dollar Cape Kidnappers golf course and is one of the most spectacular locations in the world. The facility includes hot showers, coffee and food for purchase and good car parking!

Based at the Linton Military Camp, Camp Road, 10km from the CBD of Palmerston North. This is a great opportunity for civilians to experience some of the NZ Military facilities including the assault course. Venue facilities include hot showers, a cafe and plenty of FREE parking.

Tough Guy and Gal Challenge held on 19th and 26th August 2017
This is the original home of the Tough Guy & Gal Challenge. The event is located at Lakes Ranch, an outdoor pursuit / equestrian centre 15 minutes east of Rotorua on SH30. Just follow the signs to Hells Gate and Lakes Ranch is located directly opposite. This venue provides a magnificent course with spectacular scenery for the ultimate experience.The facilities include hot showers, large hot swimming pool, backpacker style accommodation, hot food and coffee for sale and good parking.
