Friday 13th April
5pm – 8pm: Registration at the Taupo Events Centre (AC Baths) off Spa Road, Taupo
5pm – 8pm: Bike drop off for overnight security

Saturday 14th April
7.00am: Shuttle leaves Copthorne Hotel, Fenton Street, Rotorua
7.00am – 9.00am: Registration at the Taupo Events Centre (AC Baths) off Spa Road, Taupo
8.30am: Start for those who expect to take over 4.5hours (please be on start line by 8.20am for briefing)
9.30am: Start for everyone else (please be on start line by 9.20am for briefing)
3.00pm: Prize-giving at the Copthorne Hotel, Fenton Street, Rotorua

Shuttle Service
A shuttle service is available from Rotorua to Taupo on the Saturday morning of the event. Competitors will be coached from the Copthorne Hotel, Rotorua leaving at 7.30am to the Taupo Events Centre (where their bikes will be stored) Riders using the shuttle bus service must register at the Taupo Events Centre on Friday evening and leave their bikes in the secured patrolled area with the organisers. No bikes will be carried on the shuttle buses! There is an additional cost of $30 per person for this service.

If you wish to use this service you must pre-book by the 10th April. Bike and bag labels plus full instructions will be sent to your mailing address on receipt of your booking. Personal gear will be transported back to Rotorua for your collection at the completion of your ride.

Support on the Course
Available on course will be mechanics, first-aid teams, a sag wagon, 2 x aid/drink stations plus other event staff for your assistance to make this an enjoyable and memorable ride. Avanti Plus will be available at the venue to assist with any mechanical problems or last minute equipment needs.

The relay changeover is at the 50km mark at Waiotapu Pub. All transportation of riders and bikes must be supplied by each team.

Participants must wear an approved safety New Zealand cycling helmet while riding the event. All road rules are to be obeyed at all times as all roads are open to vehicle traffic.

No aero bars are permitted to be attached to any bike at any time during this event. Under no circumstances can any rider use a ‘Time Trial’ bike or wear an I-pod or other listening devise. Any riders not adhering to the event rules will not be permitted to start.

Aid Stations
Water and toilets are available at the aid station at the 50km mark at Waiotapu pub.
